Project under construction in the ‘Design Build’ system (FIDIC YELLOW), the task is scheduled to take 28 months, with a planned completion date of April 2024. The Annopol Depot will be the fifth tramway depot in Warsaw.

 

The depot consists of a complex of cubature facilities for technical, technological and administrative area, specialist positions to keep the tramway rolling stock in full working order. Within the depot, 55 tracks with a total length of 14.25 km have been designed; 152 tram wagons, each 33 m long, will be garaged in the halls.

 

The project also includes the construction of an access road and the construction of an additional entrance to the depot area from the north-east side.

 

The construction of the depot is being carried out using BIM – Building Information Modelling methodology, the first investment of its kind in Poland.

 

Project scope carried out by Prota Polska:

  • Internal road system with pedestrian routes and parking spaces on the Depot premises; reconstruction and extension of the road system of access streets to the Depot;
  • Track layout in the Depot area, inside the halls and along the access road;
  • Electrical installations: overhead medium- and low-voltage installations, cable networks, lighting of the area and access to the Depot;
  • Sanitary installations: water supply, sewage and gas pipelines in the Depot area with hook-ups;
  • Traction power at the Depot and along the access road;
  • Structure: storage reservoir, grey water tanks, sand silo.
