DANYAL KUBIN

Danyal Kubin was born in Mersin, Türkiye in 1960. He graduated from Middle East Technical University, Department of Civil Engineering in 1984. Then, he received his MS degree from the Department of Building Sciences at the Faculty of Architecture. He could not finish his doctoral studies in the field of Acoustics in the Department of Mechanical Engineering due to his busy schedule.

In 1985, he founded Prota Engineering company with his older brother, Structural Engineer Jozef Kubin. Established for the purpose of structural engineering design company, Prota has developed in a short time and emerged as a leading multi-disciplinary design company in Turkey. He started his career as a structural design engineer and currently continues his career as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Prota Group. He has undertaken design of hundreds of projects in more than 30 countries around the world.

In addition to management duties, Danyal Kubin is active in numerous social, professional and community organizations. He has presented scientific papers at multiple international conferences and symposiums and has served as a jury member at a number of competitions. Additionally, he is a recognized expert and honored guest speaker at several universities.

Gülten and Danyal Kubin couple have a child named Federico Emre, who is an electrical engineer but works as an investment consultant.
