Izmir Fahrettin Altay – Narlidere Metro Line

Prota has undertaken the preparation of concept, preliminary, final and detail projects of this line.

The design of the entire line in all branches was prepared by Prota. The services provided by Prota within the scope of the project are summarized below:

• Transportation study, feasibility report, EIA Report and design services
• Architectural Projects, finishing works, details, passenger guidance
• Static Calculations and Structural Projects (tunnels, platforms and cut-and-cover structures, line structures, Reinforced Concrete and Steel Projects)
• NATM and TBM tunnel projects (Double track; 8.9 km TBM (inner diameter: 5.7 m, cross-section: 25.51 sqm, tunnel lining: precast, completely in groundwater), 6.85 km NATM)
• Geological and geotechnical studies, reports and excavation shoring projects
• Mechanical ventilation, heating-cooling, plumbing systems,
• Fire projects (station and tunnel fire detection and fighting, gas-water extinguishing, smoke removal and escape route pressurization)
