Yahsiyan 895 MW CCPP

The Kirikkale Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCPP) Project is situated within the municipality of Kiliclar in the Yahsiyan District of Kirikkale province, 15 kilometers from Kirikkale City Centre and 50 kilometers east of Ankara. ACWA Power is the developer and investor of the CCPP, and the project was constructed under a turnkey Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) Contract with Samsung C&T Corporation.

The plant is operated and maintained by Nomac Enerji. The project operates on a merchant basis, selling dependable power capacity and electricity dispatched via bilateral contracts and in the balancing/day-ahead market. This project represents a significant investment in the region’s energy infrastructure, contributing to the reliable supply of electricity to the area.
