More than 20 historical buildings were renovated and put into service by Ministry of Culture and Tourism. These building are located in historical Sofular neighborhood of Tarsus, Mersin. Within the scope of the project, Prota Engineering performed building survey, retrofitting design and quantity survey for these 20 historical buildings.

 

Entire design works were performed with the coordination of Architect Saadet Sayın.

Prota Engineering completed its services in 2001.

 

Prota provided services in preliminary, final and detail stages. Within the scope of the project, Prota’s services include;

  • Geotechnical and geological design
  • Retrofitting design and construction methodology of the building
  • Seismic engineering design
  • Reinforced concrete, wall bearing and steel design
