Sanko University Gaziantep Serince Campus

Sani Konukoglu Foundation was established in 1989 by Sanko Holding and Konukoglu Family. Most of the revenue of the Foundation is provided by the founding members and companies of Sanko Holding. The new campus of Sanko University will be located in Serince district of Gaziantep.

The university campus, which will be built on a land of approximately 150,000 sq. meters in the Serince region, includes rectorate and administration building, 5 faculty buildings, general cafeteria, entrance and security buildings, institute buildings, mechanical and electrical installation and HVAC center, transformer building, social buildings, central library, indoor and outdoor sports areas, dormitories for girls and boys, and lodgings. A lake and waterfall are planned in the middle part of the campus, which has a valley-shaped topography.

The university administration plans to make the investment in two phases. In the first phase, the rectorate building, 2 faculties, 2 dormitories, central cafeteria, social building and installation center will be built. The closed area of the first phase is around 50,000 sq. meters.

Preparation of the master plan, concept, permit, preliminary, final and construction detail design phases for all disciplines were undertaken by Prota.

Within the scope of the project, Prota’s services include;

• Architectural, structural, electrical and mechanical engineering design
• Infrastructure, roads, traffic, landscape and planting design
• Fire safety and security engineering
• Acoustic and vibration consultancy
• Earthquake and seismic engineering design
