Mugla Milas State Hospital

Mugla Milas State Hospital is structured with three main blocks, where architectural and load considerations have been meticulously integrated into the design. The building system was carefully chosen, opting for a beamless slab to optimize functionality and architectural integrity. The slab thickness, set at 30 cm, ensures structural resilience and stability. Additionally, a total of 408 seismic isolators were strategically incorporated into the building’s design, providing a seismically base-isolated system. This approach effectively isolates the superstructure from potential earthquake impacts, safeguarding the hospital’s structural integrity.

Specific design earthquake spectrum of Design Basis Earthquake (DBE) with 475 years of return period and 10 % probability of exceedance in 50 years is used for the section designs, and spectrum of Maximum Credible Earthquake (MCE) is used for the determination of lateral displacement limits of the isolators.

Within the scope of the project seismic design, structural design and detailing, technical specification preparation, BoQ preparation services were given.
