The objective of the design services is to conduct vulnerability assessments and prepare preliminary and suggestion structural retrofitting designs cost estimates, bills of quantities, specifications and tender documents for buildings located in Ankara.

The following works were carried out within the scope of the project:

• Geological site studies and determination of ground conditions
• Structural assessment and preparation of drawings of existing system
• Structural seismic analysis of existing system
• Identifying structural system weaknesses
• Concrete and reinforcement sampling and strength tests
• Detection of existing reinforcement combinations of structural elements with non-destructive methods
• Evaluation of the current structural situation and reporting
• Suggestion of the retrofitting method
• Preparation of BoQ, technical specifications and tender documents.
