Prota Engineering Strengthens Uzbekistan’s Energy Infrastructure with the Jizzakh 550 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant
Cenergo is currently developing a 550 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant in Jizzakh, Uzbekistan, and Prota Engineering is proud to be delivering comprehensive multidisciplinary engineering services at every stage of the project — from concept design to preliminary, final, and detailed design phases.
This marks the third collaboration between Prota and Cenergo in Uzbekistan. Prota previously provided full engineering services for two 240 MW Combined Cycle Power Plants in Tashkent and Sirdaryo. With the completion of the Jizzakh project, the number of Prota-designed power plants in the country will rise to three.
Within the scope of the Jizzakh facility, significant construction milestones have already been achieved, including the completion of tank foundations, warehouse structures, the water treatment plant (WTP), and reinforced concrete and steel buildings for gas compressor units.
Prota’s engineering expertise, integrated project delivery approach, and commitment to international quality standards continue to play a key role in advancing this strategic energy infrastructure investment.
Following our recent site visit, we are pleased to report that the project is progressing rapidly and remains on schedule. As Prota Engineering, we remain committed to delivering innovative and sustainable energy solutions, contributing to regional development, and extending our engineering excellence beyond borders.
