Prota Engineering has so far developed computer software for various industrial structure system solutions which include all the characteristics of prefabricated plants such as roof trusses, gutter and purlin beams, prefabricated columns, flat roof beams, appentice beams. The software is able to make the analysis and drawings of all prefabricated elements. The reinforcement and concrete quantities as basis to proposals and works can be obtained through such computer program. 3-D picture of the structure can also be obtained through for the presentation purposes.

DEVELOPMENT OF INDUSTRIAL STEEL STRUCTURE SYSTEMS

Prota Engineering has so far developed several steel system development studies. Some of them are design of belt conveyor poles and preparation of crane chassis. The height of belt conveyor studs (pole) is designed up to 35 m. and they are connected to 15-16 m. height by belt conveyor cables. Steel construction crane chassis are designed as selection of most economical profiles as consequence of 3-D model analysis in 30 to 40 different loading options. Some of the loads considered in such analysis are crane dynamic effects like brake and acceleration, vertical loads throughout the crane effect line, wind and earthquake loads. PROTA has completed several such designs for many companies like final pole designs for long-distance belt conveyors, large spanned crane chassis analysis and so on.

DEVELOPMENT OF LIGHT STEEL RESIDENTIAL BUILDING SYSTEM

Client: Tepe Yapı Sanayi A.Ş.
The system has been developed between 1996-1999. Under the scope of this study, development of industrial/residential building structures with light steel bearing systems which are mostly used in the developed countries for low construction residential buildings and social purpose structures. The systems are implemented in both local and international projects.

GYPSUM BOARD PLANT - İZMİT

Client: Tepe-Knauf A.Ş.
Architectural design of the factory started in 1998 by Prota. The total construction area is 30,000 sq.m. All architectural and engineering services were completed at the mid of 1999. Following services provided for the Steel Construction Factory Building:

MERCEDES-BENZ SERVICE AND SHOW-ROOM - TARSUS

Client: Koluman Motorlu Araçlar A.Ş.
The total area of project is 13,000 sq.m. The project consists of service facilities, spare part depots, accessories production hall, offices, cafeteria, petrol station, recreational areas, etc. The following services were rendered by Prota in the scope of the project:

The structural calculations and drawings,
R/C prefabricated system analysis,
Soil and foundation system design,
Construction consultancy,
Quantity estimations and surveying

The project had been awarded as Best Service Project of Europe in 1994 by Mercedes-Benz, Germany.

PLASTER AND GYPSUM BOARD PLANT - ANKARA

Client: Tepe-Knauf A.Ş.
The gypsum plant which is the first industrial incorporation for it’s working area in Turkey was designed and constructed on behalf of Tepe Alçıpan A.Ş. Project design and consultancy services provided by Prota. Following engineering services provided for the plant:

Architectural, R/C structural and steel engineering projects
Mechanical and Electrical project study and reports,
Dynamic analysis and period calculations,
Preparation application details,
Preparation of investigations and quantity measurements and tender documents.

Project studies were done in 1987. Total closed area is approximately 25,000 sqm.

FLOUR & FLOURY MADE PLANT, BERGEN-OP-ZOOM - NEDERLAND

Client: Uno Gıda A.Ş.
Architectural and complete engineering projects of the factory have were performed by Prota. The total construction area is 14,000 sq.m. All architectural and engineering services were completed at the mid of 1997. Following services provided for the Steel Construction Factory Building:

MERCEDES-BENZ MAINTENANCE SERVICE - İSTANBUL

Client: Koluman Motorlu Araçlar A.Ş.
Total construcion area is approximately 20,000 sqm. The service has 7 buildings and different service departments consisting of 2 floors, 2 office buildings which have 17 floors and show room. All project design and technical consultancy services have been provided by Prota in 1997.

TRUCK AND BUS PLANT WAREHOUSE AND PLANT - ANKARA

Client: MANAŞ Kamyon ve Otobüs Sanayi A.Ş.
Bonded warehouse and administration buildings’ architectural and structural projects were designed by Prota in 2000. Total construction area is approximately 12,000 sqm.

TIFLIS-BAKU-CEYHAN OIL PIPELINE STATION BUILDINGS

R/C Structural and steel design projects, investigations and quantity measurement services provided by Prota as sub-consultant to Temelsu in 2002. Toatal construction area is 45,000 sqm.

WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT- KIRIKKALE

R/C structure and steel design projects of blowers, administration buildings, generator, garage and engine rooms, geotechnical surveys and quantity measurement services have been provided by Prota in 2002.

MERCEDES BENZ SERVICE CENTRE - ANKARA

The project consist of service facilities, spare part depots, accessories production hall, offices, cafeteria, petrol station, recreational areas, etc. In the scope of the project R/C and prefabricated system statical and dynamic calculations, construction supervision services were performed. The site supervision and technical consultancy services had been rendered by PROTA in 1995-96. Total area of the 13 storey height complex is 13,500 m2.

PREFABRICATED STRUCTURE ELEMENTS PLANT - ANKARA

Client: Prefi A.Ş.
The new factory projects of the leader light steel production firm of Turkey, Prefi had been performed by Prota. Project services were been done in 2000. Total construction area is 5,000 Sq.m. The site supervision services had been rendered by prota. Besides of that the following services were rendered by Prota in the scope of the project:
