PROTA
Engineering has always been “pioneer
of the firsts”
especially in structural and earthquake engineering
and relevant consultancy services since its foundation
in 1984.
PROTA Engineering, has completed both structural
design and seismic risk
mitigation projects funded by the World Bank, European
Investment Bank, Eurepoean Commission, Europaid as
well as many others funded by several Turkish ministries
including Ministry of Public Works and Settlement,
Ministry of Education, Ministry of Culture, Ministry
of Health, Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Interior,
etc. PROTA Engineering, in addition
to his capacity in seismic design and review works,
PROTA provides an
extensive range of research and development and feasibility
studies, local and international (FIDIC and PRAG)
contract management services,
construction supervision services as well as special
technical consultancy in its field of expertise, details of them are given
in the references.
PROTA Engineering’s senior staff
have participated in many national and international
conferences, panels,
symposiums for civil engineering and earthquake
engineering as panellists and/or speakers and presented
several
numbers of Articles. Recent 2002 ECEE, 2004 WCEE
and April 2006, 8th National Conference on Earthquake
Engineering in San Francisco can given as examples
to such conferences.
PROTA Engineering, PROTA has
been certified by ISO 9001:2000 in 2003 and keeps
its certification
through
periodical audits. PROTA is member of International
and European Engineers and Consultants Associations,
EFCA and FIDIC.

PROTA with BECA won Silver Award of the 2008 ACENZ Awards of Excellence.
Prota has taken the structural design consultancy job of the largest project which is to be carried out by the Turkish contractors in Ukraine.
